About the WWTOS

The World Wide Theatre Organ Society is a group that formed during the beginning of the 2020 Covid Outbreak. Founders Sawyer Best, Lambert Sutton, and Jack Morton created a forum on the chat app Discord as a space for young theatre organists to connect over the internet and share expertise and experiences. With many theatre organists in classical organ spaces online, this new server drew instant attention and grew fast. Since 2020, the WWTOS has grown into a group with upwards of 100 members, with several in-person events being coordinated for members to meet and play instruments together. The WWTOS is looking into filing as a 501c3 non-profit organization in the future to fund meetings and micro-conventions featuring the group’s Kimball Theatre Organ and other member instruments.
